FOUNDATION INTENSIVE

A fun, thorough deep-dive into Fly Fusion Phase 1 in a supportive, welcoming dance community!
Here's a taste of what you can look forward to!
- A thorough introduction to the fundamentals of the format
- Detailed drilling of all Phase 1 moves
- Anatomy For Dancers Phase 1
- Specific methods for adding depth and dynamic to your Fly Fusion performances
- Fly Fusion Certification Training notebook and extensive training manual
- A super supportive community to learn new things with
- The option to add certification testing as a Practitioner ($75) or Practitioner and Teacher ($125)
- Optional: Becoming a Fly Fusion teacher and learning how to create a student base
Training requirements
- 2 yrs of (any) dance experience or 6 months of Fly Fusion experience
- English language comprehension
- At least 18 years of age
Pre-intensive
If you are planning to certify, we highly suggest familiarizing yourself with all of the Foundation vocabulary prior to the beginning of the intensive. This way you'll be able to focus on details and nuance of the movements!
Training schedule
Thursday: Everyone 10a-3p, Teachers 4-6p
Friday: Everyone 10a-3p, Teachers 4-6p
Saturday: Everyone 10a-3p, Evening off
Sunday: Everyone 10a-3p, Testing 4-6p
To certify, students must attend all hours of the Practitioner training to be eligible for certification testing.
Training location
Our trainings are hosted at Menari Body Works in the home of Fly Fusion: Mankato, Minnesota! This river bluff city is located about an hour from Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport. See our list of recommendations for travel and visiting Mankato here.
